We used a variety of open source tools available over the web in order to visualize our data.

TIMELINE


Tool used: Timeline JS3


Description: An interactive timeline of Native American history that links the user to external media sources such as images and videos.

POPULATION


Tool used: Raw


Description: Various graphs that map the population change of the ten most populous Native American tribes from 1600-present.

NEWSPAPERS


Tool used: Voyant


Description: Word analysis of various newspaper articles featuring Native Americans from 1600-present.

3D Models


Tool used: TinkerCAD and Sketchfab


Description: Explanation of the 3D tools used to create the shelter models from the Tribes subpages.
